Why not go the whole hog and get some crayons and colour your pictures in, or give them to the kids to keep them off their Ipads.
Keep a log of all your happy journeys, the places you visited, the activities you took part in, the shows you watched. Why print off your favourite photo of your stay and stick it in your book for a great reminder. Also a good place to keep a list of who you booked with and places you want to visit if you ever go back.
Sky Diving? Skiing? Swimming with Sharks? Going to Australia? Becoming World Champion?
What’s on your list? Jot it down in your book and keep looking at it for motivation especially in those sad times.

You don’t need a book with a special layout – But it helps if you need prompts to get started – just grab a notebook and start writing. Jot down your thoughts, feelings, gratitude’s and dreams.
Set a page out for your guest list, timeline for sending out invites, booking rooms and cars etc, list of clothing, list your playlist for the night do. Draw up a timetable for the big day.
So you have a nice shiny FitBit on your wrist but do you actually analyse the results it provides? Write down in your book each day the distance you walked, number of steps you did and the route you took. Then at a glance you can see if you are consistently doing enough or if some runs/walks are shorter than others you can plan which one to do with the amount of time you have spare that day.
